Health & Safety Small Business Link Group

We welcome any small business representatives to join this group focused on sharing expertise and experience in all aspects of Health & Safety that impact on small businesses.
With the new Health & Safety at Work Act 2015 having been in effect for close to 24 months, please take this opportunity to become part of our support network for businesses, which meets monthly. This group is chaired by Danny Farrington, Dunedin ACC Injury Prevention Management Consultant and consists of a wide range of small employers interested in workplace health and safety.
A core focus of the group will be to increase knowledge, skills and expertise, learning from local examples, sharing best practice and sharing resources such as training opportunities. There will be opportunities for sourcing guest speakers to talk on subjects that are relevant to the group which may include, contractor management, risk management, incident investigation models, working with ACC to return employees to work, confined spaces, working at height, recidivist drink driving, to name but a few.
