Tax Package for Small Businesses

This Government knows how important cashflow is for small businesses and that the tax system is a key issue — it’s consistently raised with me by business owners, local chambers and business associations up and down the country. The Government has recently announced an SME-friendly tax package that will reduce compliance costs and make tax simpler for small businesses. Online Tools for Small Businesses

The business.govt.nz site provides a number of online tools and resources to help small businesses make more informed decisions. Small business owners are now able to quickly and easily create employment agreements online with the launch of a refreshed Employment Agreement Builder tool. Click here to access the tool.

Statistics NZ’s Data for Business website has been updated with a new section and three new data sources, providing even more information for small businesses. The new data covers retail trade, regional economies, and international trade with our top 50 partners. Click here to for more information.
