Brighten up the office and make a difference in the community! Daffodil Day - Friday 31st August
Thanks to your support, the Cancer Society can make a difference in the lives of many people and their families in our region. Here in Otago for almost 90 years, the Cancer Society provides supportive care for people and their families impacted by cancer, helps educate our communities, kids and businesses on ways to reduce the risks of cancer, provides Daffodil House for people coming to Dunedin for treatment and also funds much needed cancer research – all at no cost. We do not receive direct government funding so the donations that we receive from individuals, businesses and community groups is vital so that we continue offering our services.
This winter, there are a number of ways you and your business can help…why not brighten the office up by purchasing a bunch of daffodils that will be delivered in the last week of August, just prior to Daffodil Day! You could also hold a fundraiser with the staff – there’s loads of ideas from a bring and donate pot luck lunch through to a casual Friday!

Thanks to your support we can make a difference and be there when people need us.
