For Trades boosted by Governments funding extension

We were thrilled with the Governments recent announcement that the Apprenticeship Boost scheme has been extended until August, 2022.
As a group Training Scheme provider, we are proud to deliver a programme that is focused on helping young people into apprenticeships while addressing Otago’s need for skilled and qualified workers in the trades sector. With the extension of the Apprenticeship Boost scheme, For Trades can continue to reduce the costs for Host businesses, and keep people employed and learning valuable vocational skills – putting our region's economy in a stronger position to recover from Covid-19.
Thanks to the Government’s funding, via the Boost Scheme and Tertiary Education Commission support, our experienced team can continue to manage all training requirements (which includes initial health and safety and First Aid training) and liaison with ITOs/tertiary providers on behalf of employers. We can also continue to provide comprehensive mentoring and support for businesses and apprentices, cover compliance and payroll processing, manage the HR and performance review processes, and endeavour to source available funding for host businesses in order to reduce their costs.
