New Year - New Beginnings

Whilst the New Year is just a line in the sand, it does bring with it a sense of new beginnings and fresh opportunities. After the rollercoaster that was 2020 many of us were keen to welcome in 2021 and the future possibilities that the new year brings.

For the Otago Chamber of Commerce (OCCI) our new beginning is working collaboratively with the Otago Southland Employers Association (OSEA) and making moves towards the planned merger of our two organisations.  We are excited by what the future holds.

Starting from this week we will be sharing OCCI and OSEA training and event calendars across both organisations, which means our members can register for any member benefits from either organisation. There will be links in our fortnightly Chamber Chat to register for OSEA training and events - just let them know you are a Chamber Member when you register to ensure you get the Member Rate. 

This is just the start....keep watching for updates from the Board on progress towards the merger.
