Calling All Landlords - help needed with research on Artist Space in Dunedin
By Nicky Aldridge-Masters | Posted: Monday December 2, 2019
The Dunedin Dream Brokerage is undertaking a research project on behalf of the Dunedin City Council investigating the current and future availability of artist's working spaces in Dunedin.
As Dunedin’s population grows there is increased commercial interest in developing inner city spaces that are used by artists and makers. None Gallery has closed as its premises have been sold and there is interest from property developers in other artist maker spaces such as Allbell Chambers. This project has been set up to analyse and document current demand for art studios and workshops in Dunedin.
If you are a current landlord the researcher, Dudley Benson, would love to hear from you.
The Otago Chamber of Commerce provides administration support to the Dunedin Dream Brokerage and actively promotes the work of the brokerage - bringing life into Dunedin's vacant spaces.
