We are currently seeking applications for the following apprenticeship positions:

Apprenticeship Training Position – Clutha Area: Plumbing, Gasfitting and Drainlaying

For Trades Apprenticeship Training Trust are seeking applications for a suitable person to work within the Plumbing, Gasfitting and Drainlaying industry in the Clutha area.

The range of work offered in this unique apprenticeship is varied and will incorporate all aspects of the Plumbing, Gasfitting and Drainlaying trade.

The 4Trades apprenticeship programme is fully-funded, and provides comprehensive assistance and support to the successful candidate.

The successful applicant will need to be fit and healthy, and possess the following attributes:

  • A willingness and commitment to at least five years’ training
  • An ability to relate to a wide cross section of people
  • Honesty, maturity and good sense of humour
  • A high standard of workmanship and able to follow instructions
  • A good work ethic, attitude and are motivated
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A strong Health & Safety focus
  • A clean full driving licence
  • Hold New Zealand residency

The successful applicant will receive mentoring and on-the-job training in a fun and supportive environment while you work towards the New Zealand Certificate in Plumbing, Gasfitting and Drainlaying.

Apprenticeship Training Position – Clutha Area: Building and Construction

For Trades Apprenticeship Training Trust are seeking applications for a suitable person to work within the Building and Construction industry in the Clutha area.

The range of work offered in this unique apprenticeship is varied and will incorporate all aspects of the building and construction trade.

The 4Trades apprenticeship programme is fully-funded, and provides comprehensive assistance and support to the successful candidate.

The successful applicant will need to be fit and healthy, and possess the following attributes:

  • A willingness and commitment to 3-4 years training
  • An ability to relate to a wide cross-section of people
  • Honesty, maturity and good sense of humour
  • A high standard of workmanship and ability to follow instructions
  • A good work ethic, attitude and are motivation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A strong Health & Safety focus
  • A clean full driving licence and ability to travel to various job sites
  • Be comfortable to work at heights or in confined spaces
  • Be comfortable with tools and machinery
  • Hold New Zealand residency

The successful applicant will receive mentoring and on-the-job training in a fun and supportive environment while you work towards the New Zealand Certificate in Carpentry (Level 4).
