NETWORKING
Business after Five functions are networking functions available to the general membership of the Chamber. These functions are held by a host company who can use the function to launch a product or service, provide information or promote a particular product or service to other chamber members.
While there is no set format, usually the Chamber takes the opportunity to welcome attendees which is followed by a short presentation by the host company in whatever style they deem most appropriate.
Golf
GENERAL
The Chamber hosts two annual Ambrose golf tournaments. One is held in Dunedin at the St Clair Golf Course in February, the other in Alexandra in September to coincide with the Blossom Festival celebrations.
On course refreshments and barbecue are provided with an extensive prize list and cash bar operating at the 19th hole.
Members are also invited to apply to sponsor a hole in these prestigious events.
Coffee and Commerce
SPEAKER
Chamber members are invited to attend a presentation by a speaker of interest. The timing of these events will depend on the speaker and the most appropriate venue and location and may incur a minimal charge to attend.
